What We Do
Responding to crisis in Pakistan
Medical Aid to Pakistan was founded in response to the 2005 earthquake which hit Pakistan devastating the lives of thousands. The charity provided immediate emergency relief and supported sustainable projects for future health and well-being for those affected. Today we continue to provide emergency relief, most recently for victims of the earthquake in Baluchistan and the DG Khan floods, and also healthcare projects and individual funding for medical training.
Projects and funding support four key areas which are vital for the people of Pakistan:
Sustainable supply of toxin free clean drinkable water
Awareness and prevention of Hepatitis
Scholarship programmes for students to study in the medical field
With your continuous support and contributions we are able to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of people in Pakistan.
